Hanoi through the haze

I have been trying for many years to get a decent photo of Hanoi from the air, and so far with little success. Both the constant haze and my lack of a decent camera conspire against it. In this photo you can see the Red River in the foreground, Truc Bach Lake and Tay Ho on the right, the old quarter middle left and the army citadel in the middle with the orange roofs. Beyond the army HQ is Ba Dinh square and the Ho Chi Minh mausoleum.

July Theme Day - Chimney

A theme day not relevant to Vietnam, as I have never seen a chimney on a Vietnamese house. This is not to say they do not exist, however I did not have time to go out to a factory or brick works.
